My boyfriend and I are visiting Sedona Fri Apr 23- Sun 25 for mountain biking. We'd love to get in a few hours of climbing on one day, but we're not really familiar with the area. A little about me: I'm about a 5.7 climber; very fit; climbed in J-tree, Red Rocks, & Portrero Chico MX; can set a top rope if bolts or natural anchor using webbing, climb sport and trad, BUT I won't lead climb (I have no problem cleaning or lead belaying, though!). So that's the problem . I'm not sure of any short routes in Sedona where we can walk up and set a top rope (my rope is only 125 ft which was used for canyoneering, so I wouldn't lead climb on it). We are willing to pay someone $100 to come play with us for a few hours and/or trade adventures (I have a 27 ft sailboat in near Los Angeles if you are ever in the area). I've already looked at guides, but paying $400 to play in nature seems like robbery to me. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thank you, Julie
