nice beautiful weather at the same time , sh*tty storm with freezing temp so, rule #1;

treat Yosemite like a wilderness and make sure you carry the essential like a good backpacker or climber.

To translate Majidspeak:

Expect beatiful weather. Late May should be warm during the doy and cool at night, Most of the mosquitoes should be gone by then. The falls should be running although not in their full glory.

As always, be prepared for late afternoon showers and thunderstorms in the high country. Unlikely, but when they occur, they occur fast.

Enjoy the valley.

J.

Late May is about when mosquitoes start coming out, and are roughly peaking in the lower elevations such as the valley.

For the day: rain jacket, approach shoes, hat, sunscreen

And in the PM: down jacket, beenie, king cobra and condoms. Wink

Don't forget your bike. The best way to get around the valley.

What are the condoms for? maybe I'm just an ugly dirtbag, but I've never gotten anything but shut down in the valley, maybe this year...
