Does anyone know anything about a "secret canyon" near pikes peak. it was in a Readers picture of the month for the march 2010 issue of backpacker magazine. it is suposedly 40ft deep and 100 yards long and filled with water.

in canyoneering you down climb or rappel down into the canyon after we down climb it we have to swim out

You realize that just the word "climbing" implies ascending not descending, right?
