I\'ve never actually been climbing and need some experienced climbers to introduce me to the sport and show me the ropes(no pun intended). I\'ll be ready to go on February 15th and/or 16th. Can go just about anywhere in western Arkansas or Eastern Oklahoma. Just give me a place and time, and bring some friends and I\'ll be there.

There is some decent bouldering around Tulsa. In the same area, there are some short toperope routes that are great for begginers. I try to get out there as often as I can, providing it's not too cold...because I can be a sissy when it comes to cold weather!!! If you are in the area, let me know, and maybe we can hook up!

I'm just starting out too. I recently moved here to Little Rock and have been purchasing my gear (currently have harness, belay device, helmet, chalk....next paycheck will be rope and shoes) during the last few weeks. I found a link [http://www.raidtherock.com/climbingevents.htm ] to a local rock climbing class that takes place at the Horseshoe Canyon Ranch [http://www.climbhcr.com/]. I will be attending this class and hope to met others from the Little Rock area that want to go out to Chenal Mtn or Magazine Mtn. If anyone in the Little Rock area is looking for a partner, please let me know.

That's right. It's about time you people take notice of some of the best climbing in the nation, most certainly in the midwest. If anyone needs directions, beta, a partner, or a place to stay, let me know and I can hook you up. I will definitely be out and about in Feb. so just drop me a line. A.W.
