if nothing else there's always the zoo

There is plenty of decent bouldering in Central Park. (Rat rock is not an example, but if you like dragging your butt in the dirt, see http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8OOL1UkvhfY)

I remember an outcrop overlooking the Wolman Memorial Skating rink (the outcrop North of the rink) that had some respectable problems on it.

Its a fun place to hit on occasion. If youre strong theres not enough problems there to climb on a regular basis and not get bored IMO.
