What is up with the site and all? It won't save my log in name and it asked me to change my password twice in a week. Whats going on? There is something goofy happening with the site and I'd like to know what it is. Thanks. spyder

Something freaky seems to be happening with the database... the cause has not been immediately obvious but I will get it back to normal as soon as I figure out what the hell it's doing

Yes, what is up. I had to change my password and my email account became inaccessible. Even using the same password. I added a bug report but that hasn't been addressed yet. Anyway to get this dealt with quickly so I can start getting my email? Dave

This is silly, and it needs to be fixed. I was just kicked off and have been trying to get on for the last 20 min. This is no little problem. This is no good. Lets get it fixed. spyder

2 questions here: 1) The reason there are changes and issues with the login are because we are trying to increase the security. We have just encrypted everyone's login and part of that step requires people to login again. There have been some additional bugs we are still working out. Email especially. We are working on this. 2) for the overloaded ?, looks like we need more RAM again. We upgraded back in August, but we've more than doubled since then and with 350 people on line at once, it's getting tight again.

To get into your e-mail try using your old password. It worked for me.

Just to be clear... My old password does not work for my email. No password I have every used or am using now works. I rely on this email address. Dave

THIS WORKED FOR ME: If you log in and the page doesn't show that you're logged in hit wait a few seconds and then hit "Reload" on your web browser and then it will re-send your information and (hopefully) log you in okay. That's how I have to log in EVERY time, but at least it works that way. Good Luck. D.

If your password doesn't work just pretend that you forgot it. You get an email with a link that you can use to change it to the same password it was before.

The session timeouts have not been shorted from what I can see on the outside, but changing your password will cause problems if you use the IE "save this p/w" function, as every page of the site (forums, PM's, routes, etc) will require you blow out the previously saved login (if you've logged in from that page before).
