Alright. I'm trying to order a new pair of climbing shoes. I got a pair of Mad rock Demon's (the original ones) in a 9.5 for christmas last year. They were really hard on my feet, but luckily fit my brother well so he's taking them from me (lucky him). I'm trying to decide between the Hera's and the Onsight's. Any preference/recommendation? How about on sizing? I'm mostly climbing in a gym and bouldering. Hopefully I can start sport climbing next spring.

I Would have to say out of the two the Evolv Hera is a better choice (also goes to a good cause). I can't really say much about sizing thats something you will have to figure out with a little research on the good ol' google search bar. Also I am not sure what your price range is but I mean for a little more you can definitely get better shoes but hey thats my opinion only.

The Hera will probably last longer and is most likely better made (I say this as a long time Evolv wearer-- my only experience with Mad Rock Onsights is having tried them on once in J Tree and hearing that MR's wear out quickly in general, hence why they are cheaper). Size the Hera the same as your street shoe since it will not stretch.

I know this is late, but I ended up with the Hera's. I must say, I'm in love. Thanks for all the great advice!
