i want to climb everest. is this good practice? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uKlYTn_m2cY i saw that he carried two ropes though. i think so they'll be long enoug, one looked short. b/c he tied into a black rope, then when he got to the top the rope was yellow, Did he stop and tie the ropes together>? becaus they werent long enouhg? do they make them longer? i saw that he clipped his rope to carabiners to catch him if he fell. i was a boyscout, so i pretty muych know all the knots, but i need to know which carabiners i need. can someone just tell me what rope, and carabiners he used? if it worked for bear grills its enough for me
