Radford University’s Peters Hall houses a 22 foot artificial climbing wall. The NICROS ART wall (http://www.nicros.com/...wall-systems/artwall) is a fully featured climbing wall. The climbing wall consists of 8 top rope climbs with routes changing weekly. In addition to top rope climbing, bouldering is permitted up to an 11 foot height (again with routes changing weekly). Climbing harnesses belay devices and shoes are supplied at the climbing wall. A student managed staff is available for belay instruction, climbing instruction, or belaying you as you climb. The climbing wall is opened in accordance with the Radford University’s academic calendar (http://www.radford.edu/...edules/calendar.html). The climbing wall is open Monday – Thursday 6:30 – 9:30pm and Sundays 2:00 – 5:00pm. In addition various climbing wall competitions are also sponsored throughout the year.
