for your purposes ... whatever works and is cheap ..

you may want notchless for cleaning if you want to do overhangs ...

you may want light wiregates if you plan to do trad or alpine ...

other than that, dont go off spending $$$$ on shiny "top of the name" draws IMO if you can spend that money elsewhere ...

if i had a dollar for every newb walking around with shiny petzl spirits in the bluffs ... id buy a new rack Wink

I suggest the BD HoodWire. They are lightweight, wire-gate and snagless. Plus they are relatively inexpensive... especially at the current price on the BD website.

Or to save a few bucks, get 5 posiwires and 5 hoodwires. take them apart and make 10 draws with a hoodwire on the bolt end and posiwire on the rope end.

Everybody wins!

Spirit straight at bolt end, some wire for rope-end with a burly (nylon) dogbone is my recommendation, at least I use those. Petzl string or some biner fixing is good to have for sportclimbing. The obvious answer would be full spirit draws, but I don't like the rope end biner. My last posiwire pack came with really weak springs in the bolt-end biner, wouldn't recommend them. CAMP used to have a really cheap draw, still using a few of them.
