Moving to CO/Winter Climbing?

Hey all!

I am moving to Colorado in early December, most likely to the Boulder area. Any recommendations on what, if anything, is best to climb in the winter around there? Also, I need some partners! Have trad/sport and a 60m. Climb whatever up to mid 11s and boulder, but really prefer long moderate multi-pitch (know its unlikely in winter though),
Thanks!

It will depend on the weather and how far you are willing to drive I suppose.

Winters vary wildly here. From really mild, where it snows only a few times and melts fast, to really harsh where a lot of the state will be under several feet of snow until May.

You should have no problem finding partners in Boulder, that's for sure. And I'm sure they'll have some favorite winter spots. You might try some of the groups on meetup.com too. They seem pretty active in the Boulder area.

Welcome to CO. It's pretty awesome here.
