Mine is about 50, unless it's in the sun then I'll go to about 45. One of those pics shows him climbing a thin crack barehanded at -25 C.

Finger cracks probably hurt a lot less when you can't feel your fingers.

The coldest rock I've been able to handle is -5c and that was for very short periods. Having cold hands added a scare factor because I had no idea if I was hanging on to anything good.

This clearly shows my inexperience with cold, alpine rock, but I would have assumed at those temps the rock would be pretty solid (i.e. - frozen enough that it doesn't really matter)

You base your opinion on how good a hold is based on feelings from your hands.
while I suck at jamming, I misunderstood what you said when you said you had no idea if you were hanging on to anything good. It seems you meant to say that you wanted a good jam. I thought you were talking about the quality of rock.
