Hey :) So I'm tossing up between a pair of Solutions and Miura VS Women's. I'm more of a face climber than overhangs, which leads me to believe the Miuras would be the way to go.. but I'm also trying to get better at bouldering and overhangs, plus all the sport climbing in my area is overhanging, which the Solutions would be good for. I think I'm probably leaning toward the Solutions.
To those who have Solutions, how have they performed on faces and slabs? And how are they generally as an all-round shoe?

Neither is a very good all around shoe. Both, but mostly the solutions are too aggressive to be considered "all around" in my opinion. With that said, if you have good footwork and are confident on slab either will also work. I personally prefer the miuras but that's because they FIT MY FOOT BETTER. So my advice would be, find out what fits best and go with that.

I use VS's for virtually everything except real slab climbing, and even then I have made them work in a pinch. I really only use my Solutions for more edgy and overhanging routes. So I think that the VS is a more versatile shoe. But I have a friend who wears his solutions for virtually everything too.

I use both quite a lot. For 80% of the time I like the Miura and 20% the Solution.
My opinion is that the Miura is a better all around shoe.
For overhangs it really depends on the route (for me). Generally the Miuras work fine, as the foot holds get smaller I tend toward the Solutions...
For thin face climbs, and slab with tiny edges/bumps, I like the solutions. For more friction I go for the Miuras.
