So I wrote a second ed from scratch and wound up with a 700 page tome. Hope I can get some positive reviews on here as marketing is one of my least favorite activities. The book is "Climbing Stronger, Faster, Healthier: Beyond the Basics". More info can be found here (or when it shows up on amazon in a day or so). https://www.createspace.com/4821607 Enjoy! -Mike

It is available on kindle. However, the formatting on kindle is far from perfect and it is insanely long for that type of device. I made it very cheap if you bought the physical copy to serve as a companion. It should also be free to prime members (at least according to amazon). The nice thing on Kindle is that it is searchable.

Nightmare formatting, actually no formatting at all. You could only zoom and couldn't change fonts at all. If this is the case then it's not worth a single kilobyte. The length is irrelevant really. Worth a shot to try Kindle since I could always return it if I don't like the format. Then just buy a physical copy.

It was very difficult to transfer the format to Kindle. But you can at least view a sample to get an idea. Not nightmare, just not perfect. I'd rather have a physical copy for a book like this, Freedom of the Hills, etc... but I guess I'm just biased.

Thanks! Hope it gets picked up by google a bit better in a few months after being out a bit, and put on similar items on amazon...that's pretty much my marketing strategy. Glad alpinist got the copy I sent them. Hope you like it, I'm super self-conscious so putting something like this out there makes my palms sweat. |

One question Mike: Why a second edition instead of a new title? Itīs clearly a new take on the subject, you said yourself you started from scratch this time. Mats

like most decisions I've made in my life, I forgot the reason behind it. Post a good review on Amazon!
