Vertical caving helps wisk the blues away. Its always in the 50's in a cave, no snow or freezing weather. Also climbing on my little wall in the house helps.

This winter in CO has been really mild. Yesterday for example, it got up to almost 70 degrees so I can still climb here. But when the snow flies, I LOVE taking my sons sledding, winter mountaineering, going to warmer climates to climb, hitting the gym, snowshoeing, dance classes, hiking, traveling and aerobics. I guess the cold weather forces me to focus on other activities that I do less in the summer because I have tunnel vision when it comes to climbing.

Be Strong We just finished a climb in Alabama where the temperature got to 10 degrees at night. (We slept in tents) If you want the whole outdoor experience, go yearround. Climbing is all about challenges, the cold is just another obsticl to tell your friends about.

OMG. I can't wait to go climbing today. The State Park is so empty when it gets down into the 50s here. I guess some people just don't like the cold...

"down into the 50s"? Wow that's sick. Old Rag would be mobbed if it got up into the 50's around here this time of year.

Well, I'm trying out the backcountry skiing thing . . . that's mildly entertaining compared to climbing . . . but . . . oh wait . . . I forgot, it's warm enough to climb! YEAH!

Usually skiing.....but since it doesn't snow in Utah anymore , just head to St. George for some great climbing and biking.
