I was wondering if someone can help me find a climbing gym that offers lead climbing or lead climbing class in Illinois. Near the north side of Illinois is preferred. Thanx. -Mowz

Actually, all the gyms from indoorclimbing.com are listed in the Illiinois routes DB... I think, pretty sure. I know you said you wanted something in Northern Illinois but I thought I would throw this at you... www.verticalheartland.com is run by Eric Ulner, guidebook author for So. Illinois, who teaches rock climbing classes. Everything from begginer classes to multipitch. All from his backyard at Draper's Bluff. Andy

you can climb at lake forest high school on sundays. I belive from 12pm-4pm. The wall is not bad for a highschool and they provide you with a belayer and gear if you need. The cost is between $10-$15. -Moshe
