There are now some serious access issues with reaching this crag. Private roads, No Trespassing signs and attack (really) dogs now make the drive up Foothill Road impossible. Instead, exit from the 150 onto North Signal Street, going north. Continue past Grand Avenue, still going north on Signal (there's a funky jog here - you have to almost turn left to stay on Signal). Turn left at the Los Padres National Forest sign that says "Pratt/Foothill Trailhead" -- this is across from 1203 North Signal Road, in case you're reading the house addresses. Drive past the water tank, and continue on the dirt road until you reach the trailhead. Park here, and follow the clearly marked trail along the (usually dry) creek towards the mountains. Do not be tempted to cut through any private property here because there really are attack dogs that will come after you. Walk about 20 minutes up this trail; you eventually end up walking on a paved road, what I presume is Foothill. Keep walking past a large gate at the end of the pavement, and then take the obvious trail on your left heading towards the crag.
