I am looking into getting a crag and short (2 or 3) day Hiking pack. I just wanted to know some pros and cons of these packs. Also maybe which one 45 or 55 that comfortably fits your gear.
I have already read other threads on this. I just wanted some new info.

the only thing I know about the arcteryx packs is that they have waterproof zippers(some) and excellent suspensions. unfortunately this makes them heavier. they are sick packs from a sick company, and if you're not overly worried about going light, i'd give them a shot.
Peace

I bought the RT 55. I love it!! Plenty of room for all my gear, jacket and lunch at the crag. The only problem is a squirrel tried getting my lunch and chewed a small hole in it at Joshua tree. I also bought it for short 2 day trips as well. Definately give it two thumbs up!!! Corey

Depends on how much gear you are trying to haul and what your plans are. I have the RT 45 and it is a great day pack. If I had to haul my gear and stuff for an overnighter I would go with the 55. Otherwise, the 55 is a little large for a crag pack.

Tanks guys, I got the RT45 and packed all of my crap in it. It fits everything perfect. I will let you know how much I like it when I get back from Belize.
