I had one before my son's mother lost it. It is a very good camera, but I wouldn't replace the one lost with another. For one it is very rounded, overly large and can feel slippery in one's hands. The metering and performance were great, but the lens left me feeling it needed some more sharpness to it. I know that it is not an M6 but it wasn't way above the highend nikons or canons. My yashica T4 performs much better and it was half the price. I would suggest looking at the new T4 zoom prior to getting the Leica. Being that it is an expensive point and shoot.

I had one for a day. it ate the first roll of film I loaded. It is actually a panasonic with a leica label and lens. I stepped up to the minilux. definitely more $$$$ but so far well worth it. I like the fact that it has exposure compensation +/- 2stops in .5 stop increments. the z2x only has a +2 with no incremetns. that said I have yet to compensate due to the meter being dead on.
