The art of Slackline is growing. Do we have a general idea of the hows, whats and whys related to this activity? A few examples follow.

What is your general opinion reguarding falling while walking a highline...other than "just don't fall"? Do you grab the line, take a tether fall, use a climbing harness or just a swami?

What about starting position? Do you sit start, mantle start, standing start or what? What is the standard? Does it matter?

What makes you a "good" slacker? Is it "how long you can stay on", "style", "who has the most fun" or "difficulty"?

Thanks!

Thanks!

When stated a little differently, there is no answer.

What is your general opinion reguarding falling while climbing a rock...other than "just don't fall"? Do you grab the draw, take a tether fall, use a climbing harness or just a swami?

What about starting position? Do you sit start, mantle start, standing start or what? What is the standard? Does it matter?

What makes you a "good" climber? Is it "how long you can stay on", "style", "who has the most fun" or "difficulty"?

See what I mean? You can't answer that kind of question.

Alright...I get your drift. Its the freedom of slackline that we all love. I'm with you.

It sounds like the general opinion is " Fun". That sounds like just the answer I was looking for. Thanks!
