well im gettin a slackline but cant put it up till next friday. i was wondering if i could use a rope (dynamic). could i get it tight enough to where i could use it or would it stretch to much. thanks for any help

seems like slacking on a rope would be hard (and might lead to twisted ankles?) but you might avoid the difficulty and potential injury by walking duck footed, which is where your feet are either perpendicular to the line or close to it)

ive tried it with rope. it never stopped streching, but it would stay taught long enough to get a few good walks in. i would just wait.

DO NOT use your dynamic climbing rope as a slackline rope. The constant large amounts of tension on your rope will reduce its strech in the long run. This is bad. If you want to try and use rope buy a static line or use an old used up dynamic rope.
