Hi everyone, I am fairly new to so-cal. I am looking to find more girls to climb with. I am in the LA area. If anyone wants to meet up for any type of climbing let me know.

There are a handful of women that climb at Rockreation Gym in Santa Monica which is good to hook up with others, and also bouldering at Stoney Point any given day brings a handful of different folks to meet up with as well.

Hi Annie and everyone else! Looks like we're all in the same boat. Annie are you able to come up to Yosem. ina few weeks. A bunch of people are going up from June 28th - July? I was going to go up for the weekend and was hoping I could find a few girls to carpool with....any takers?

Not sure if I can spend a whole week up there, but I was planning on driving up Thursday (26th) and maybe staying till Sunday/or Monday (depending on if I can get the time off).
Anyone else want to carpool?

hi everyone! i would love to find other female climbers in so-cal. i'm in hermosa beach and climb at beach cities (formerly la rock gym) tues & thurs. anyone else go there?
is the yose trip over july 4 weekend?

Hey Christine!!
We're neighbors! I haven't yet, but I was planning on going to LA Rock Gym at some point. I usually work Thurs/Tues nights, so I'm not sure if I can make it then.
As for Yosemite, there is a group staying all week, but I'm not sure if they will be there throught he 4th weekend.
I will be in Idyllwild that weekend, so I won't be there.
Let me know if you want to meet up sometime!

caligrrl - i'd love to meet up with you! this week i'm out of commission b/c of a mountain biking wipe out, but next weekend i'd be up for doing some climbing. it's been too long since i've climbed outside, about a month. :cry:
annie - i'll be tuolumne july 23-27 maybe we can meet up there...

just let me know if you ever want to go other than thursdays; i'd like to go more often but thursdays are the only days my other friends can go.

why do you NEED friends to climb at a rock gym more often.. just go and socialize... guys are pretty friendly ya know? plus you can boulder.
