Aieee! I'm the "manager" for Mississippi but only because it's flat and no one else was. you want to be the area mgr, and kind of a default contact for MS?

I have some family there but unfortunately none of them climb; I was just using the state as a test bed for bug fixes. (sorry!)

Well, if that would mean that climbing events may run across my table and get me a good opportunity to climb with strange and interesting people, then what the hell, why not.

I've been in New Mexico for a year where I picked up climbing and now I'm back in Mississippi. I live in Tupelo but will be in Starkville for most of the summer. Only been here less than a week and I'm already aching to get back on some real rock.

edit: I also love bouldering so if you're into that sort of thing...

I hate I didn't respond sooner, but I've recently become a dad 3 months earlier than expected. Needless to say, I was taken away from climbing for a few months. I'm back in again and need someone to climb with. I live in Corinth so the most local climbing place is Tishomingo (toprope). Just across the state line in NW Alabama, there is a hard to find private crag call Red Rock (located off of HWY 72 between Muscle Shoals, AL and the Mississippi state line. It has several "hard" sport routes on some slightly overhanging to wildly overhanging sandstone. I'll send pictures of it if anyone is interested. I also climb quite a bit at Foster Falls, TN.
