OOps. I may be impaired but I thought I would open up the cafe for any early risers. I was out doing a couple of routes in war torn Kelowna earlier, erm maybe not so early as it was yesterday. Anyway after pizza at a buddy's, he, his wife and I went to the neibours for a drink and wound up playing kareoke. I have to crash though so I can drive to Vancouver for wings and beer tomorrow. Then on to Squamish for some awesome crack.
I'll try to check in again for an Earl Grey before I leave but if not, help yourselves to the muffins.
oooh head doing funny things....... gotta sleep.

good morning darkside, have fun on the drive to vancouver.
Good morning everyone. how is everyone doing. I am doing stupendous. I just came back from NYC where I proceeded to have a freaking awesome time. I can't list the details, for fear of getting banned, but I will say this, everyhing was perfect timing for us. Example, we went to a comedy club just to check it out. little did we know Chris Rock would stop by and grace us with his presence. he was trying out his bit for the MTV video music awards. pretty cool. and thats just an example.
Now I am looking forward to labor day and climbing. what a great mix. who all's going climbing this weekend and where. peace.

Morning darkside and Erica the Innocent. I'm usually at work at this time, but today I'm home sick. I have stuffed head, sore throat, and ache. I feel like I was hit by a truck. Must rest so I can climb this weekend. Going to seneca this weekend and next. If you are planning to go to seneca next weekend, I will be going down with a group of 20. Might make things crowded. Chad,Ryan, others I spose your still in bed or making the commute. My commute sucks too. Six small town blocks, can be walked in 8 min. Have a good day. I'm going back to bed. Will check in later.

hello all! I like this "Erica the Innocent"! :lol: No climbing week-end for me but a wonderful 2day hike in Switzerland with a friend. And my arm is better, just 4 scarces on it... and still a lack of power in the grip, but I suppose it's gonna be better in the next 2 weeks.
Coffee for me, I already had an Earl grey this morning.

I trimmed my hedge yesterday....70X100 lot perimeter!! 6 ft. high.
My arms are friggen fried. blisters to show, too.

Morning kids! Bill - feel better so you can get out there OK?! Plans are firmed up for camping this weekend with Mike and his best friend and the pup at Point Lookout state park in MD - complete with Dog beach :) Yay! Should be a blast, but we'll miss meeting up with the Nelson's/Seneca group. - Erica we should climb come September - I have to work the weekend of the 6th - and might go see Anne around the 14th if you're interested.... but we need to go to Great Falls and get some local climbing in before the sun starts setting earlier!!! Let me know what you think about that...

hi everyone else!
climbing isn't happening this weekend...someone decided that they had to have their bachelor party this weekend, and so erik, being the best man, is not going to be around. BOOOOOOOO.
So I'm stuck at home with the various pets and my little brother. I'm not sure which is worse.
especially now that the bunny seems to be going insane, and tried to either hump my arm, or climb out of the cage via my arm (I'm not sure which since I thought she was a girl) this morning. crazy rabbit.

hey ABI, don't worry we will climb fo sho. I am going whitewater rafting the weekend of the 14th but don't worry we will go climbing or at least out on the town.
nope no strange men in my bed this time. they were my best friends. plus, strange men would not have fit in our room. this room was so freaking small, but it was awesome. it made you get out. there was nothing to do but sleep or pass out one. I did tell a bunch of strange men on the street that they were cute though. damn man I was drunk that night. the comedy club was called the comedy cellar and it was very cool. and we ate at an italian restauraunt in little italy and the song amore came on and we sang to it and did the lady and tramp thing with the spaghetti minus the smooch part. you know all the innocent stuff.
man, it looks like not many people are going climbing this weekend, but have other good plans. thats cool. I am lookling forward to heading out to nelsons this time when its not so freaking cold. almost ayear since I have been out there. charley are you going to drop by and share some whipped cream with us??
