I am also in the army, stationed up here near Faribanks... and I know what it's like to lose good friends when they're far away and you don't get a chance to say good-bye... I feel for you man... But just remember that there is a greater plan in it all, something way beyond us... I can't say what you should do to help ease the pain... however I know I would go out and crank on some climbs, mabe even with a little more passion than regularly, knowing I was climbing for the soul of another as well...
