If your trip runs late I should be in the valley from 9/17-9/21. Send me a message or leave something on the bulletin board in C4. I won't be checking e-mail after the 13th though.

Sure thing. As of today, looks like I may actually be on track as planned. Things can change though. Johnny.

As always, when you get to the Valley, check out the Camp 4 bulletin board on the ranger's kiosk. Read a note, or leave a note. You can read or post a specific route/capability/rack and get a suitable response. You shouldn't wind up with more than one day's downtime, and that day is the first day you're there. YoVa is the mecca. Losta people make the journey, just like you. You're going to love the climbing there; you are not going to love the crowds, but you'll love it, anyway.

i am already here and am planning to be here for a long time. i have two days of down time already and am feeling desperately in need of climbing partners! i have posted a note on the camp 4 board to no avail so far. i just want to climb!!! i will fairly comfortably lead up to 5.9 trad and follow into the easy 11's, but i'm game for just about anything.

In reply to: i am already here and am planning to be here for a long time. i have two days of down time already and am feeling desperately in need of climbing partners!. Damn, I just rolled back in from 4 days up there! I would have climbed with ya. I kinda skimmed the board but I must have missed you. I'll probably be back up there this coming weekend though. Any route in particular you want to get on?

Hello Kaia, I'll be to the Valley from Sept. 26 to Oct. 3 and look for your posting. If you are still there and interested to share the experience with a German climber, then let's compare our lists of climbs to do. Juergen

hey moabbeth, i think i saw your name somewhere on the board. somebody else missed you? anyway, i'll be around. i'm pretty much game to get on anything, but really want to get on some 2 & 3 star routes. i've only done bishop's terrace and serenity crack, so there's lots of choices. i'm probably not in shape to lead anything over 5.9 right now (my head!!!) but i'll follow into the easy 11's -- or at least try. multi-pitch is preferred, but like i said, i'll do just about anything - i just want to climb! ps - today it is raining. :x pps - internet access is at the girl's club next to the yosemite institute. be there first thing before they open to get a spot on the waiting list and if you're there early enough you might get on. they have weird and limited hours, though, and expect to spend a few [hours] waiting around even if you get on the list.
