I agree that teaching isn't that bad. My girlfriend is a teacher and I get pretty jealous at all the holidays she gets. The only bad thing is that you can't choose when to take them and thus always have to go during peak season, but still 14 weeks a year isn't all that bad. Engineering probably isn't the best for climbing although my current job isn't too bad. Probably the least hours I could be working as a full time engineer, 8 hour days, 9 days a fortnights with 4 weeks off per year. In summer I have time to get out for a couple of hours before dark but during winter I get confined to climbing in the garage during week days. Being a student was the best. There wasn't many classes that you couldn't blow off and go surfing or climbing.

Hey dude, I go to Oklahoma State and I'm majoring in Leisure Studies and I plan to use it in opening a guide service. Check it out because you can use the degree for a lot different things if you change your mind and its not real hard to obtain.

Quebec gold, eh? Are they still smuggling that across the reservation into upstate NY? That was big business back in college about a lifetime ago...Not the safest job. Travel nursing is big money, great locations, huge bonuses, and tons of young (and fat old) ladies.

In reply to: GROW AND SELL DRUGS And when you are retired from this profession, you can live in a room the size of small bathroom with a cellie named Cecil whom makes strange noises in the middle of the night, have three squares a day of unknown origin, one shower a day with company, one hour of recreational time, and maybe television depending on the state that throws you the retirement party. But you can climb the walls . . . sorta
