The official announcement from the Ministry of Forests: http://www.for.gov.bc.ca/...isplayArticle&ID=627 The Smoke Bluffs are on municipal land, but they should be opening soon as well. To my knowledge, the smoking ban is still in effect. Also, the forests are still dry, so be careful out there.

All of the district's ugly Fire Hazard signs have been taken down so I take that to mean it's all over. Of course, the rock is all wet now...

The smoke bluffs were opened up today. So give us a stiff breeze and a bit of sun for some dry rock and i'm back in heaven! Mark
