Yo, I take the trip up there occasionally.....I am the routesetter at Vertical Reality in South Jersey.....If you need a change in Flava you should cruise down and check us out sometime....Do you climb outside???.....I'm always looking for peeps to roll to the Gunks with......Holla

its a pretty good gym, and there really isn't much other choice unless you want to drive 45 minutes to either wall street or down to maple shade (and IMO, neither are worth the drive from Hamilton) route setting is pretty good there, but it tends to go in moods, its a move du jour, youll get like 5 new routes where its all gastons, or all the nw routes will be laybacks or super reachy. this is good and bad the one thing i wish it had more of was roofs. with the gunks in such close proximity, there isnt much in the way to practice on. they have a good bouldering cave too, and we used to set some sick routes in there. there were/are a bunch of people who would tape stuff up, not sure how much is happening now since i don't belong htere anymore, so i recomend heading there, its not too expensive and you can meet a ton of people
