I just submitted a photo and it is on hold until i "resize to fit medium specs" or something. problem is I don't know how to do that or who to contact as there was no photo adin available per the message. man, i just learned how to get the thing on here and now they want me to modify it? a little help? -computer dunce (i think i have lotus image viewer if that helps with any advice?!?!?!)

Your file size is probably too large. It needs to be 96k or less. Reduce you files size and resubmit the image. File size can be reduced by changing the dimensions of the photo(i.e. from 600x400pixels to 300x200pixels) or by increasing Jpeg compression. I don't know anything about Lotus viewer so I can't help you with step by step directions. I'm sure the software comes with some sort of "how to" info.

Resubmit at the level requested by the Editor, as it should resize automatically now thanx to Biff adding much code to do this. Though if you do it yourself, you may get a bit better quality.

You got it right that time...I just went and approved the correct one and deleted the one that was WAY too high. Good job, and I hoep you continue to submit.

I really should fix the photo submit/edit page so that if you change the quality it tries to do it automatically, if it can't it should post a message saying that it needs the original file again .. or something. maybe next week.
