Is long lanky reach better than explosive power? Whatever it takes. Layton Kor and Lynn Hill are both fair climbers, I hear....

Lisa Rands is 5'.2" and she could kick any of your tall and lanky butts!

I'm 6'2" and I figure that if Lisa could jump that high, she probably could kick my butt.

But seriously, yes, she climbs far above and beyond me. And there's a lot of taller people who climb better than me. But then there's both short and tall people who suck at climbing too. I don't think height makes much of a difference. If you love to climb and want to get better, no goal is too far. ;)

Unless of course you're talking dynos. I'd bet I could beat Lisa at dynos, simply because of my height and reach. I've seen tons of problems where my friends struggle with the dynos, and I just have to stand up and reach.

And then there's the really difficult dynos, like two-move ones. I love those!
