i just moved to telluride this month and am anxious to find some ice climbing partners. i just started climbing ice last year and don't have a lot of experience, but i'm super-excited to get out there and learn. pm me if you're around and interested. i will probably only be available tuesdays and wednesdays, unless we go early to nearby stuff and can be back by 1:30 PM.

yes, i can! i guess i'm not that much of a newbie -- i just haven't climbed a LOT of ice yet ... but i've practiced placing screws and doing v-threads and whatnot and have followed or toproped a few shorter climbs (and one long multi-pitch route). i'm also a pretty proficient rock climber and have a few years of mountaineering under my harness as well. i'd be happy to go climb with you for a couple of long days (and some shorter ones if you need a partner).
