Halcyon Climbing Presents:
The Amazing Adventure Contest.
Deadline extended to Jan 8th!
First Prize consists of one free journal or blog website featuring photo uploading and storage, easy to use posting interface, fully customizable layout and design, http://yoursite.halcyonclimbing.com address, yourname@halcyonclimbing.com POP email and a Halcyon Ringer T-shirt!
*More prizes may be added dependant on number of entries recieved.
The Contest?
Simple. Just send us your best trip report.
Write about any climbing trip you've taken at any time and try to capture the attention of the www.halcyonclimbing.com judging panel. Feel free to include pictures, diagrams, maps, topos or whatever you feel will make your entry stand out. If you know html then you may submit your entry fully formatted and it will be posted as is.
Don't know any html? Don't worry, we'll format it for you.
How do I enter?
Simply send your entry and any accompanying images to submissions@halcyonclimbing.com
Text should be sent in .doc or .rtf format, images in .gif or .jpg, and any html files should be attached and named as such. Please note that we are not responsible for fixing really bad code ;)
If you have no idea what I'm talking about then just submit your entry in the body of the email.
Guidelines
Contest begins now!!! Submit whenever you're ready.
Submission ends Jan8th at midnight. This should give you plenty of time to come up with something creative.
Voting dates will be announced shortly, but will most likely take place for one week shortly after New Year's Day.
All submissions will be posted on www.halcyonclimbing.com and will be voted on by forum members so if you want your friends to vote for you then better get them to sign up now ;)
Remember, we're looking for quality writing so consider entering even if you don't have the most exotic or epic trip report!
