Sorry if someone asked this already.
Hopefully this will happen and if it does it won't be for awhile. I live in london where there are two gyms. They are both just straight run of the mill TR climbing with no bouldering or what not. I was wondering what you guys and girls have in mind for a gym that can incorporate all types of climbing, minus big wall and multiple pitch climbs.
Thanx for your input, and if you hate gyms they prolly don't like you either

P.S.-just jokin about them not liking you, or am I?

Check this place out if you havent been http://www.castle-climbing.co.uk/frameset.html They have a good mix of bouldering, TR, Leading, and such. If nothing else its good beta for your own gym, as well as knowing what the competition has.

"I want to start my own climbing gym" will soon evolve into much more if you're serious about it. Ironically it may mean a lot more working and a lot less climbing (at least in the beginning)... if you are serious, and this is more than a back yard pipe dream, plan on at least $300,000 to get started the right way--that's the easy part. PM me if you want some tips...

I can put different spin on this if you prefer. I am part of the staff of a Co Op climbing gym. Our membership is small, we have no paid staff, a laughable annual budget, heat/AC, plumbing, insurance but over 10,000 square ft of climbing surface - all leadable. Our members who travel say we're one of the better gyms in the Mid-West. All I'm saying is anything is possible. PM me if you're interested.
