The brand new guide book about climbing in Malaysia is now available. All crags in Malaysia, how to get there and of course topos and info about latest routes. Retail price: RM 39
At the moment this guide is only available in limited numbers at BLOCX. Later on the book will also be sold at other places. We will keep you updated.

LOCAL POV
Quite a decent guide book. Informative and well presented.
FOREIGN POV
A couple from San Fran we took out climbing recently commented that this was one of the better guide books they have come across, saying that it beats scribbled topos and "go east for 5 miles" type of directions that are available in some of the guide books they've come acros...eh...i dunno...but i guess that means something.
REMARKS
Do put it together with a better spine. I thought Climb Asia would've learnt from their Climb Singapore book that it falls apart if you open it a little too far. Makes appreciating the photos, reading some of the stuff in there, storage and loaning it out a bit difficult.

Yeah, it looks pretty good.
Haven't yet had a chance to run thru its contents, but the design looks very nice with bright color photos and all.
And it's almost half the price of the guide book sold at Krabi.
