Speaking of boogers...

Lately me and my coworker have been seeing an abnormal number of nosepickers/eaters while driving to and from lunch or work...

your sitting in your car and happen to look over and Whoop! an ol lady is pulling a whopper out of her nose, inspects it, then eases it into her mouth.

i think i've seen about 4 nose pickers in the last two days...

This is the dumbest thread I have ever read. Gym climbers....

Wow, we're not all as cool as you. Bugger off if you're just going to be an A S S H O L E.

Jesus christ, you actually think that you're not going to get made fun of for having a BOOGER discussion? This is indeed a stupid thread, and if you don't think so, YOU'RE stupid...

My boogers were black when I was in Manila. They were white when I was working with sheetrock and painting. Chalk never has had an effect on them though.

I had a t-shirt for awhile that had BOOGERS on the front and on the back it said, NOT JUST FOR BREAKFAST ANYMORE. I miss that shirt. Really hope that helps.

this is a pretty funny thread i must say, i have laughed a couple times reading it... anway i would always get black boogers when i went into the subways of london. but why do you care if your boogers are black? unless you are eating them? your nose among other things acts as a filter, so black boogers are a sign that it is working properly.

Do you use that chalk that has a drying agent?

Last time I checked, chalk WAS a drying agent. They don't need to add anything to it.
Just pure, powdery Magnesium Carbonate!

I climbed at a gym that had gymnastic pads on the floor (they were blue) and I used white chalk and still ended up with black snot. Now, I climb at a gym that has gravel on the floor (it's grey) and I'm still using the white chalk and I have black snot. I think it's the chalk. But maybe, if you look at where the holds actually touch the wall, you'll notice a lot of fine black dust. Maybe from climbing shoes? People smearing on the wall or just using sloppy foot work and grinding their shoes away and leaving a lot of black shoe rubber for us all to sniff. Maybe that's where the black snot comes from.

It might be from sniffing the @$$ of your lead. If you stop the black boogers will probably go away. I'm not infering anything...just a thought.
