Gerry, I live in Philadelphia and I’m interested in taking a trip to Red River Gorge. Never been up that way… I climb mostly 8s, in the gym and outside. I have rope and an extra harness. I just graduated from Penn State so I have a fulltime job now but I’m willing to take off 3 days plus the weekend for a trip. Keep me informed of the details. Patrick

Hey man, if all else fails im sure you can meet up with a ton of locals at miguels and they can show you a good time while you are at the gorge. I know its not what you had in mind but its always there and welcome and I find that the people around the Red are always willing to have another person around.

Hey I have spring break that week, and will already be in West Virginia the weekend before Easter. I wouldn't mind traveling the extra distance down to RRG for a few days to meet up with ya'll. I can lead sport up to 5.9 and climb low trad, and can tr 10's. Lemme know what ya'll end up doing. Take it easy. <=glen=>

The more I look at RRG, the better it looks. I might try to scrounge up a few friends and stay the whole week there, April 11-17th. It'd be nice to meet up with whoever can get there that week. How much is the camping at Miguels, anybody know? <=glen=>

Howdy, I live in Columbus Ohio, and me and a few of my friends have been planning a trip down thnere for some time now. My climbing partner is a solid 5-10 to 5-11 climber but does not have a lead hat, I have only climbed outdoors a little but was able to scamer up a 5.10d on top rope ( i was ugly ) we have plenty of gear and would probably be interested. Hell we could make it a psuedo gathering. Let me know Jon
