Well I live in Boise so I get to climb at Table Rock almost every day if I can. Though I dont have any truly interesting stories yet, I highly recommend checking it out if you're ever in the area. I'm a beginner at the moment but you can PM me if you wanna hook up for a day of bouldering.

Yeah I just got back about an hour ago. It's fun but my fingers still aren't used to the harsh grit sandstone. All I've tried is the boulder problems. No toproping or leading yet. My profile pic is of me at Table rock.

Yep, been there. It was fun, but I think I prefer the Black Cliffs. I'm not much of a Boulderer (even though it says that under my user name at random times, haven't figured out where that comes from). I did a fun "no hands" route (forgot the name). You traverse across a ~2 inch ledge for 10 or so feet. I swear I kept falling off because my glasses got in the way

You're thinking of the balance ledge traverse. yea it took me a few tries to get it cause I'm so tall I kept having to lean back as the rock curved back. Nevertheless I finally made it. I plan on heading up tomorrow to check some stuff out early on and then going up to the Black Cliffs.

Yeah, I've climbed at Table Rock. No I haven't been to The Crux yet. If anybody is looking for someone to climb with, feel free to e-mail me. I have been nursing a messed up thumb and some torn ligaments in my ankle and so I haven't climbed in about 4 months. About time I got back to it. Ryan

Man I haven't bouldered around at Tablerock since like the late 90s. ACK!!!! I hike up Tablerock all the time during the spring, summer and fall though. Since I live all the way out in BFE Caldwell, but work in Boise, I workout at the BSU Rec Center and get in my climbing fix there several nights a week. Once I get adapted to the early spring weather and can find some dependable partners, I'm fixin' to hit the Cliffs on the weekends.

I'm down at the BSU Rec all the time. The new gym is soooo nice. I plan to head outside this weekend, hope the weather stays nice. And for the other question.... I haven't been to The Crux yet. I've heard from others that it small, but carries some stuff that REI and the Benchmark don't have.

I'm planning on hiking Table Rock tomorrow after work. Any of you guys gonna be bouldering up there tomorrow night? ------
In reply to: I'm down at the BSU Rec all the time. We should say "Hi" to each other sometime. I'm either Spinning or lifting or bouldering around.

We interrupt this forum to bring you this stupid message That "boulderer" that is under your name is a form of rating of your online experience. As you progress and post more, you will progress through many titles under your name. You'll notice I'm "toproper". Now, back to your regularly scheduled programming

Aaaaah, now I get it. Thanks for the answer "abalch". I was going to eventually get around to figuring it out, but you've allowed me to stay lazy.

I'm usually in the climbing gym late Monday and Thursday nights, I've got an obnoxious orange-plaid chalk bag. Not sure if I'll be there tomorrow night, I've been really sick so I should probably take it easy (especially since I want to go climbing this weekend). Have fun at Table Rock.
