Hey all! We're looking for partners all over the place (mostly western and mountain states). We (ivanm and myself) road trip ALOT and are always looking for people to trip with or meet up with. We usually have something planned for almost every weekend and anyone who's interested in coming along (if you're in the area) are more than welcome!

Almost every weekend I'm trying to scrounge people up at the gym or PM friends here that are interested in climbing certain places and I'm probably not the only one.

So....

Looking for partners anywhere? Then welcome to...

The Road Trip Calendar

Use this thread to post your current road trip schedule and feel free to edit your posts as trips are added, cancelled or changed. So as not to clutter up the thread with individual replies, please respond to trips you are interested in by a private mail (PM). Cool? Cool.

Erica as you know all you have to do is get a hld of me and i would be more then happy to show you some of the stuff in the Gunks and stuff around me. But i know how you people who left the east cost are. You always say you will be coming back for a trip and to see the family and friends but you never do

Hey Abel,
I'll answer your question for you since the ROAD WARRIOR CLIMBERCHIC! is in Josh right now.
We climb all year round here in AZ. In the summner it is to hot to climb in the desert so we escape to the mountain climbing areas which sit at 7000' to 9000'.
In Sept - October its starts getting cooler. This is a good time of year to climb because you have your pick of anywhere in the state. Its getting cooler in the desert areas and not to cold in the mountains yet. Plus there are no access restrictons at this time.

If you are heading down send me or Erica a pm and we can show you around.

Later

Rockitup!

Hey Abel!! Thanks Chris! (J-Tree was F U N, btw..)

Chris (crackaddict) pretty much said it all!
He knows a lot about the climbing here (much more than I do) and has been all over the state.

Climbing here is year round and we are pretty centrally located. Check out the Arizona page for more details...

We're pretty friendly here in AZ, so if you ever come down here, let us know and if one us can't take you out, we can set you up with someone who can.

Either one, but October is better for the Phoenix area.

Let us know when you're out here!

Hi Phil,

What do you want to know about Flagstaff? IT's a really fun town with good people and tons of climbing.

Priest Draw and Kelly Canyon for Bouldering
Paradise Forks for trad
The Pit for sport

All within 5-20 minutes from town. Plus tons of hiking, camping, biking...you name it.

Will you be in town through the end of September? We're having an RC.com gathering up in Flag the last weekend in Sept.

I'm up there quite a bit actually! Don't have any immediate plans for the future, but I'll be sure to let you know. I few really awesome people that I have met or climbed with up there are phlyfisher, adambroadbent and litedawg, You may want to contact them if you are looking for partners in the SLC area.

Thanks for the friendly comment! And yes...all of us act this way. Every single person here

~Erica
