I was wondering what kind of climbing shoes you personally like and what kind you would reccomend for a person that climbs indoors and plans to sport outdoors. thANX

I use La Sportiva Merricks , they are great for indoor and outdoor!

I like the La Sporiva Muiras - not only because they work well for edging, smearing, cracks, etc. I like them because I feel like they were made for my foot! They are narrow, high arches; even the toes seem to fit right!

I've tried different brands and styles, and I can definitely feel the difference.

Find the shoe that was made for you!

Definitely look for all the models that fit your foot first, then try each one of those on the wall. Make sure you step on a HUGE variety of holds to test the performance and versatility of the shoe. Also, unless you have been climbing in the gym for a while, you may want to try one with a little thicker sole so it will support your foot until it gets stronger. I hope this helps.

Please check one of the 40 threads on "shoes", reply to the one you wish to bring to the top. No need for a 41rst.
