Go to the portland rock gym and ask about the Carver Cliffs Climbing Club. Or get the portland rock climbing book it has at least 10 local crags in it. Let me know if you want to hit the rock some time

Dude! I'm always looking to climb with new people, lead or top rope, its all fun to me I live here in portland, and for past 6 years have climbed at most of the
local crags, and have been climbing steady
for that 6 years out at Rocky Butte because
its located right in the heart of portland,
has over 100 routes, everything from 5-6 to
5-12, top rope or lead, for single pitch
its hard to beat.
Check out my picts on the Rocky Butte page,
or on my profile
p.s. the Butte's got a lot of beer bottles
and traffic noise(even though solve is doing
a great effort to clean it up), but I dont go
there for the scenic beauty, I go there to climb rock.
So if your interested, i've got all my own gear and then some, let me know, and a climbing we shall go.
