Can't Post

Has anyone tried the "old" John Long Workout From Hell or the "new" Workout From Hell? The new updated version was published recently in one of the climbing magazines.

I haven't seen the older workout, but have heard that it allows more regular (strenuous) bouldering sessions during the workout, thus allowing the climber to maintain natural bouldering strengths,(i.e. balance, core strength, and finger strength). Is that true? Does anyone have a copy of the older workout or familiar enough with the new one to give me an idea of ways to adapt it to more regular bouldering sessions, (i.e. working some projects and longer 2-3 hour sessions)? Does changing it make sense? If anyone has a copy of the original workout, do you know where I can get a copy?

I'm worried that if I lay off the "hard" climbing too much and focus on the weight training, I will loose a lot of the core strength and finger strength I have developed?

Has anyone finished either of these programs and what were the results?
