I was just wondering what the prizes were like for winning something like the PBB. Anyone know?

They're a bit Pants
Second and thirds usually a chalkbag or something. Enter as amny as you can to gain many prizes. They're great training too.

The Triple Crown prizes last year were pretty good -- first place was a crash pad in most categories except junior, plus some other stuff that companies donated, quick draws, sunglasses, tents, sleeping bags, headlamps, shoe certificates, chalk bags, etc.

Governor Stable usually lets winners pick from all the stuff laid out on a table -- my son won men's intermediate last year and got a beanie.

At most comps, unless you are in the elite category, where you can win money, usually the prizes are gear, and if you're good enough to win, you probably climb enough that you don't need more gear.
