I climb at grand ledge about every other weekend, I was just wondering if anyone has any info on older routes that have been forgotten also route history would be cool

I am assuming you have the brown guidebook, that i have seen randomly floating around most shops in the area, that is by far the best source of beta I have seen anywhere

I can tell you most about the ledges you want to know. Its not a big place so go ahead, also if you dont have the little guide book you should get it. DaggerX

no guide book here, but I do tend to go up there about once ever few weeks to play on that overhang. let me know when your heading up there again, maybe we'll be up there the same time.

I don't know much of the history of the routes themselves, but an old guide to midwest climbs I found says that some of the carvings in Fitzgerald Park and Oak Park date back to the 1700's.
