is it that hard to brush some dirty/chalky holds? come on guys. if the route is frequently cleaned it would dry faster after a rain and the route would be much more pleasant to climb. if you can't afford a brush, forget about your white teeth. please don't fall into the habit that others would do it. peace.

taman forgot to mention what kind of brush should be used: don't EVER use a metal brush! any standard tooth brush is good enough to clean the crucial holds of a climb or bolder, sometimes a slightly more robust one (for old folks artificial theeth) does a better job. as taman said: make it a habit to clean your mess, especially if you are one of the uncoordinated tick-mark-masters. clean those marks off after your session; actually there are some people around who prefer the challenge to work out the moves themselves....
