We are planning a trip to Montreal to kayak surf some of the beautiful waves on the St. Laurence River this weekend. Is there any top rope / bouldering areas worth checking out.

Thanks you!

Hey - that sounds cool. I heard of a place called Luskville. Anybody been there?

I have been to a place called Rigaud at a ski hill. They had some fun sport climbs. Was only there for an afternoon, but it was worth the short drive (west) from Montreal.

Have Fun!

I recommend Val-David, about 1hr north of Montreal, in the Laurentians.

Well, Lachines is high but good. Keep a close eye on your gear when walking / scraping up the eddy.

67 is not prime, still high but fun easier to access.

As for climbing. there is Val David, out by Tremblant, and someone else mentioned Rigaud - I have been told good things about it, steep sport climbs, and you drive past / near in on the way to Mtl from Ottawa..but your likely taking a different route.

Anyways. Have fun. Im jealous.
