My gf and I have a Good Riddance tape in the car that we listen to on the way to the boulders and a Bob Marley tape that gets thrown in after climbing. Music outdoors is blech, so none during climbing. Nothing beats a live dj spinning heavy drum'n bass for a plastic session though.

The people I climb with chill out with a little Nick Drake. On the way to the crag I prefer a little Uncle Tupelo.

Chill ass music is good: Bob, Ben, Floyd, Phish, Dead, and of course: The String Cheese Incident. But when finishing a good day of climbing nothing compares to cranking Paul Simon's Kodachrome. Oh yeah. -Jaime

There's something in Nickelback's music that gets me completely psyched. While climbing on plastic: Violent Femmes, Radiohead, U2, Pixies None outdoors

The last trip we all took together the guys pulled out one of my Native American cd's. It was pretty cool, it was early in the morning and they started the fire. It really brought us back to nature. But don't get me wrong Beastie Boys and Kidd Rock were not far behind in the line up.
