The thing is, I'm organizing a climbing/camping week with a bunch of friends for the end of july. I am looking for a good campground as close as possible to the cliffs, but which would also be ok for non-climbers spending more time at the campgroud itself. I used to camp right across from the cliffs, in that nice lady's backyard, but that wouldn't do, I'll want to be able to make a fire, and take a shower and everything. So what's the best place? I saw the ad for Pine Haven, seems really nice, but is it worth the price (28 bucks a night)? Is there a better place, or one that's closer, cheaper? Just for my information, can we still camp at that lady's place on buffalo rd.? thanks, any info will be appreciated

I was at Rumney this week looking at camping spots and I couldn't find anything cheaper than $24 for two people in tent at a pretty crappy place. The place closest to the polar caves looked the nicest. Which house is it exactly that the lady will let you camp in her yard for a small fee?

Its 7 dollars per person NO CAMP FIRES and from the first parking lot entrance it is the farm directly across the street and slightly to your left. Must be in before 9 PM.
