I am going on a family trip up to Rollins Pond next week and I am hoping to teach some relativesof mine how to rock climb since they have never done it before, can someone recommend the best location to set up a few quick top rope rigs? Thanks.

Go to the ADK Lodge (Adirondak Mt. Club) in Keene and hike the 20 min. to Mt. Jo where they teach their climbing classes.
5.3 to 5.5 TRable stuff in a really nice place.

Owls head in Keene - popular with guides
Notch Mt over by whiteface - 5.2 thru 5.6 you have to bushwhack to get to it
Beer walls in Keene valley

All are easy to get to and offer easy setups for top ropes
I would stop in at the Mountaineer in Keene Valley and pick up a guide book.

Thanks for the tips everyone, I have a guidebook, but sometimes the insider, actual personal ideas help the most, I will check out those places, thanks again....Go Yankees.

Yea, do that, and be told to leave - the Mt Jo cliff is for ADK club groups ONLY. Owl's Head, Jewel & Gems Wall, Upper Beer Wall, and Noonmark (if you want to combine it with a stout hike) are your best bets.
