In reply to: Art don't worry. Since I will be the oldest and most mature of bunch I will try my best to keep these younger guys (BVB & Curt) under control. Well, you got the "oldest" part correct. ;)

Ah, yes. As I am oldER than the grommets in my school climbing club. hahahahaha. Oh, I am punchy today. Shall we go a few rounds with the tried and true age jokes, Curt, or should I find something else to be a pest about? :P OK, now, to keep this on topic- less than a month till the party! We're gonna have a rippin' good time. Curt- ya adding any more esteemed friends to the guest list? ;) I spilled to Alex about all the possible, and definite, greatness we may sit before. We're swooning already :)

We're swooning already :) Well, I invited John Gill and John Sherman. Verm will come if he isn't working that weekend and Gill is still "on the fence" - but I wouldn't count on it. It would be great for BobD if Gill shows up though--that way Bob won't be the oldest person in attendance. :D Curt

Swoon! Verm cracks me up, and his ride is beyond pimp. I was inspired by the Anna Nicole. Alex's Subie (and now the Jeep) just couldn't compare.

It's official.... I'm a "Fo Sho" attendee. Schedule was posted today, and I've got the 2nd through the 7th off. I tell ya... this schedule of working 3 days every 2 weeks is rough, but someone has to do it. Go ahead... call me names now. I don't mind. And even if I did mind, I'd get over it by crying away my sorrows in Red Rocks while y'all were working 9-5. :) So, anyway... I'm in for the whole weekend. So is my roommate (she's cool, and a climber... she even likes bouldering, too.) ;)

All right Reno! I, too, am no longer a fencesitta... Y'all will be seeing me up in Flag - I'm bringing along my trad gear, sport gear, and crash pad - have to be prepared for any emergency!

In reply to: I'm world class at being a weenie. Omigod, Art, you've gone public. Why do all y'all have to plan something fun for the only weekend 'til late October that I have plans? Damn the man. And since just about everyone I know reads this thread, I'll take this time to publicly announce that I'm leaving for New Zealand on October 24. Alright, back to your regularly scheduled old-people-bashing. Meg

Amber (and the missus bobd)- NO BOX WINE! $6 pink wine, in a glass bottle, with the wax "cork" and/or screw top.

(big huffy sigh) hillary (sigh) are you trying to push me off the fence? horrifying curt by drinking boxed wine with you was a major motivation for going. (hurt sigh) if i'm drinking bottled wine, i'd prefer a shiraz. though, my roomie found a kickass white a month or so ago. "snapdragon." god, it RULED. if we're going for the cheap wine in a bottle angle, can we get that instead? i think that was the night that he introduced me to bourbon and cigars. (do i have the best roomie on the face of the planet, or what?)

If the real motivation is to disgust Curt, I'll take one for the team and slug the Franzia pink-urine with you- hell, I may even purchase it in bulk from Costco myself. I'd hate to push you off the fence with my hoity-toity $6 Glen Ellen. If we really wanna send him into a seizure, we could get those adorable new single-serving plastic bottles of Arbor Mist. They're like Kool-Aid Koolers for grownups, and have marginally more alcohol! And they sell em at Wal-Mart. :D
